Here at Buggerbear HQ we think they’re one of THE greatest bands of all time, perhaps even THE greatest American band of all time. What with their blend of gothic pop, gnarled blues, baroque jazz and proto punk theatricals, being the absolute Lizard’s nuts in our book.
So we were very excited indeed to hear about The Fire doors, an impassioned tribute to Morrison, Manzarek, Krieger and Densmore played by people who are already highly accomplished and acclaimed artists in their own FIELD playing MUSIC that is rightly much loved. We are very pleased to present the London debut of The Fire Doors tonight. So let’s get our kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames, ya get me.
Support comes from The TR5s - a marvellous mixture of skiffle tinged rock roll, power pop, new wave, garage punk and beat music, fronted beautifully by singer Rusty.
DJs We Got Killers - massive Doors fans as they are, WGK hit up the dancefloor with some Doors roots, shoots, fruits and cahoots dancefloor bangers before breaking in thru into all manner of killer tunes of all eras all genres fit for delirious dancing…Until The End.
